1Acceptance & Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Student”, or “Aspirant”) and Persistify EdTech Private Limited (“Persistify”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By registering an account, installing the Persistify mobile application, initiating a study session, or submitting a commitment deposit, you explicitly agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the guidelines detailed herein.
2Eligibility & Account Creation
Persistify is engineered for aspirants preparing for competitive examinations such as NEET UG/PG, JEE Main & Advanced, UPSC Civil Services, CA Foundation/Intermediate, CAT, and State PSCs.
- Age Requirement: Users must be at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 years of age must participate with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian for financial deposits.
- Account Integrity: You agree to provide a valid mobile number for OTP authentication. Only one active account is permitted per aspirant.
3The Commitment Deposit Mechanism (₹200)
Persistify utilizes the proven behavioral economics principle of loss aversion to overcome the 21-day drop-off curve in competitive study routines:
Aspirants deposit a ₹200 trial security deposit upon onboarding to activate their commitment pledge.
Complete your 21-day consistency streak clean, and every single rupee is withdrawable back to your bank account.
4Non-Gambling & Legal Nature of Commitment
Persistify is an educational accountability platform and is strictly NOT a game of chance, betting, lottery, or gambling service:
- There is zero element of chance or luck involved. Outcome is determined 100% by your personal study discipline.
- You do not win or take money from other students. You only receive your own deposited funds back based on completing your agreed study schedule.
- Fines deducted for agreed slip-ups are applied automatically per fixed transparent rules visible in your app settings.
5Fine Schedule & Deduction Rules
Fines are only deducted for specific, agreed-upon focus slip-ups during active study sessions:

6100% Refunds & Wallet Withdrawals
We believe discipline should be rewarding. Our refund policy is unambiguous:
- Withdrawal Process: Tap “Withdraw” in your Wallet tab, enter your UPI ID or Bank Account Details, and your funds are transferred directly.
- Processing Time: Bank UPI transfers are processed within 24–48 hours.
- Platform Fee: ₹0 platform fees deducted on refundable balances.
7Planned Leaves Policy (4 Leaves / Month)
Discipline is not cruelty. Life has genuine emergencies, health issues, and family events:
- Every aspirant receives 4 free planned leaves each calendar month.
- Mark a leave before the day starts or during genuine emergencies, and no daily target fines apply for that day.
- Extra emergency leave requests can be submitted for review with supporting proof.
8Study Partner Code of Conduct
When participating in shared study rooms, instant peer cohorts, or Telegram study circles:
- Harassment, abusive language, or spamming fellow aspirants will result in immediate ban and forfeiture of active sessions.
- Using automated scripts, emulator bots, or screen-mimicking software to falsify study time is strictly prohibited.
9Fine Dispute Redressal & Appeals
If a fine was deducted due to a technical glitch, app crash, or medical emergency:
- You can file a dispute directly from your Fine History screen within 48 hours of deduction.
- Our review team inspects telemetry logs and resolves disputes within 24–48 business hours. Approved appeals are credited back to your wallet instantly.
10Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
